Makoto Parchen

My name is Makoto Parchen, and I’m the latest addition to the Slav Law, PC team. Being born in Concord, MA but raised here in Austin, I have established roots in the community; from a young age I have sought out various ways to lend service to my community, whether that be distributing meals and care packages, working as a swim coach, or acting as a sincere listening ear to those experiencing a tumultuous time in their family lives. I studied history as an undergraduate, where I developed skills in research, writing, and analysis, and served as a leader in the Phi Alpha Theta  Historical Honor Society. That academic background has sharpened my ability to approach complex material with clarity and attention to detail, qualities I bring to my work in the legal field every day. 

Alongside my professional work, I am also a freelance photographer, classical pianist, and guitarist, pursuits that keep me creative and disciplined outside of the office.
